Is there a Harvard professor that you would really like to talk to, hear his/her opinion on a topic, or ask for a suggestion? Is there a PI whom you have always dreamt of spending time with? Is there a member of your DAC committee whom you would like to sit down with, but you can’t seem to schedule a meeting?

Treat him/her out to lunch! The meal is on us!

In an effort to improve the communication between faculty members and students on the Longwood Campus, BGSO has launched the “BGSO Student-Faculty Lunch” initiative. If you invite a Longwood-based faculty member of your choice to have lunch with you in the Longwood area, and put a BGSO officer in copy on your correspondence, we will reimburse your lunch expenses up to $12 per person.

Groups of students are allowed to go out for lunch with the same faculty member, however pre-approval from the BGSO treasurer is required for groups of more than 3 students. Within this program, you are not allowed to invite your PI out for lunch.<!-- This Category is currently empty -->
